Zela’s Storyverse

The Infinity of All Things, The Ceaseless Dream, The Evergrowing Constellation of Imaginations.

About me

Hi! My name is Zela, or Zelastar (she/her, fey/feyr), I am a fantasy writer trying to make my dreams and thoughts come to life through my writings and stories. I’ve been quietly practicing my writing in varying paces and decided it’s time to share it.

Ever since I enjoyed countless stories through many mediums, such as video games and animation, I’ve been dreaming of my own broad collection of settings inspired by them. It’s why I slowly developed a broader philosophy of reality. It is this philosophy, this point of view, that brought me to write what I write.

Philosophy

There are countless unknowns and possibilities, always something beyond what we all perceive. Our perceptions and beliefs of reality are limited on all levels, from individual to collective. To think, by our mere existence, we interact with countless atomized, individual realities. From a simple gesture, phrase, or act, we help craft and alter them in everyday life. We will never know the full extent of our individual impact. It is in this vein that we can call reality a perspective. As varied as perspectives are, reality is the same: constantly interpreted, changing, and shifting. Rules we may view as constants are subject to change. Our understanding of science shifts and changes as our knowledge is neither total nor absolute, nor will it ever be.

Of course, this isn’t a thought about disregarding science.

It’s about being humble. It’s about being open about the many ways circumstances can change. How each of our individual bubbles of perceived reality are at the behest of the evershifting, greater swaths of reality that is our broader, material environment. This greater reality is our communities and their education, philosophies, cultures, and even our perceptions of science as it is pitted against the material actuality of science. All of them depend on the greater reality that places us in these societies we exist in: the economy and the social relations it comprises.

Reality is simultaneously many and one, simple and complex, and we’re all in this together, no matter how alone we see ourselves.

I hope you enjoy what I have to offer in my writing.
